The cost of industrial refrigeration used in different sectors is alarmingly high. The extensive piping network in large scale industries have to be controlled through compression devices. Heat exchange devices need to be monitored to ensure that they are removing the heat from the air properly. Ammonia screw compressors should be checked regularly by the maintenance supervisor present at the building. Surge drums, Recirculators and evaporative condensers should also be monitored and checked regularly. A timely check and maintenance of equipment ensures that overall costs are reduced because it keeps machine blockages at bay.
